Second revision in under a month scorches hospitality sector as West Asia conflict rattles global supply chains

India’s state-run oil marketing companies have raised commercial LPG and aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices sharply, effective April 1, 2026. The 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder now costs ₹2,078.50 in Delhi , a ₹195.50 jump from March 7’s rate of ₹1,883, marking a 10.4% increase. This follows an earlier ₹114.50 hike on the same date, making it the second revision in less than a month.

ATF prices have effectively doubled Delhi’s domestic airline rate surged 114.55%, from ₹96,638 to ₹2,07,341 per kilolitre. International ATF rose 107%, from $816.91 to $1,690.81 per kilolitre. Hotels, restaurants, and airlines face mounting operational pressures as global energy supply disruptions, fuelled by the ongoing West Asia conflict, continue driving costs upward.
