Horror-comedy starring Rashmika Mandanna maintains steady performance with ₹1.66 crore collection on Day 16

MUMBAI, November 5, 2025 :Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s horror-comedy venture Thamma has successfully crossed the ₹125 crore milestone at the domestic box office, demonstrating consistent performance during its theatrical run.

According to data from Sacnilk.com, the film collected approximately ₹1.66 crore net across all languages on its sixteenth day, pushing the total India collection to ₹125.71 crore. This achievement establishes Thamma as a commercially viable project with sustained audience interest beyond its opening week.

Strong Opening, Steady Momentum

The film launched with a robust ₹24 crore on opening day, primarily driven by its Hindi version. While weekday collections experienced a predictable decline to ₹10 crore by Friday, weekend figures rebounded significantly with ₹13.1 crore on Saturday and ₹12.6 crore on Sunday. The first week concluded with an impressive ₹108.4 crore haul.

During its second week, Thamma demonstrated resilience by adding ₹15.9 crore despite reduced momentum. The film maintained stability through its second weekend before experiencing typical weekday slowdowns, reaching ₹125.43 crore by the third Wednesday.

Regional Performance Analysis

Theater occupancy rates revealed moderate but consistent patterns across major markets. Chennai emerged as the strongest performer with 40% occupancy, despite limited screen availability. Pune and Lucknow recorded 15.67% occupancy, while Mumbai and NCR averaged 14-15%.

Hyderabad posted 13.67% occupancy, whereas southern markets like Bengaluru registered lower turnout at 11%. Tier-2 cities including Jaipur, Surat, and Bhopal maintained 12-14% occupancy levels. The film’s performance indicates strongest traction in metropolitan and North Indian circuits, establishing a pan-India footprint for the horror-comedy genre.
