Voting on November 6 and 11; results to be declared on November 14

Patna, October 6 – The Bihar Assembly elections for all 243 seats will be conducted in two phases after the Chhath festival. The Election Commission announced in a press conference on Monday at 4 PM that the first phase of voting will take place on November 6, followed by the second phase on November 11. The results are scheduled to be declared on November 14.

The Election Commission also outlined the 40-day election schedule, detailing key dates and procedures leading up to the polling. This two-phase arrangement aims to ensure smooth conduct of elections while accommodating the large voter turnout expected after the festive season, when many residents return home from other states.
