Claims PAK Army Shot Down 7 IAF Aircrafts

New York – Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif delivered a provocative address at the UN General Assembly on Friday, claiming military victory over India and alleging that Pakistan shot down seven Indian aircraft during recent conflicts.

Sharif asserted that Pakistan emerged victorious in confrontations with India, while labelling “radical Hindutva” as a global threat. He referenced the Pahalgam attack, claiming he had sought impartial international investigation, but accused India of rejecting the proposal and exploiting the tragedy for political gains.

The Pakistani leader stated he had warned from the UN platform last year that Pakistan would not tolerate external aggression, claiming his warning proved prophetic when “unprovoked attacks” occurred in May.

Sharif accused India of unilaterally terminating the Indus Water Treaty, calling it a violation of both bilateral agreements and international law. He declared Pakistan would defend the water rights of its 240 million citizens and consider any treaty violation equivalent to an act of war.

Reiterating support for Kashmir, Sharif expressed confidence in eventual UN-supervised plebiscite allowing Kashmiris self-determination rights.

Despite claiming a strong military position, Sharif credited President Trump’s intervention with preventing regional warfare. He announced Pakistan’s nomination of Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, acknowledging his peace efforts saved South Asia from “destructive conflict.”

Sharif met privately with Trump and Army Chief Asim Munir for 80 minutes Thursday night, though the White House released no official photographs or statements.
