Sweets distributed, crackers burst at BJP and JDU headquarters as Union Minister Manjhi declares: “Nitish Kumar will be our CM”
PATNA, November 14, 2025 :Jubilant scenes unfolded across Patna as hoardings proclaiming “Bihar Ka Matlab Nitish Kumar” (Bihar Means Nitish Kumar) appeared near the Chief Minister’s residence following the NDA’s commanding lead in early vote counting trends.
Earlier, a poster depicting Nitish Kumar as “Tiger Zinda Hai” (The Tiger Lives) outside the JDU office had gone viral, with party workers celebrating their leader’s resilience . Passersby stopped their vehicles to photograph the posters, with many stepping out of homes specifically to view them .
Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi emphatically stated: “We were saying from the beginning that NDA will form the government with a thumping majority and Nitish Kumar will be the CM. We are heading towards that. Going by the trends, we will not be anywhere less than 160 seats” .
Celebrations intensified at BJP and JDU offices with party workers distributing sweets and bursting crackers. Activity surged at the Chief Minister’s residence as counting progressed , with NDA supporters confident of Kumar’s tenth term as Bihar’s Chief Minister.
The festive atmosphere marks what appears to be a decisive mandate for the NDA alliance in Bihar’s high-stakes electoral battle.
