BJP national spokesperson accuses RJD leader of misleading Bihar voters with “impractical promises” and mocks Mahagathbandhan’s internal discord

BJP national spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi launched a sharp attack on RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav during a press conference at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Wednesday. He warned Yadav not to “mistake the land of Buddha for ‘Buddhu’s’ land,” accusing him of deceiving the people of Bihar with hollow promises like giving “government jobs to every household.” Trivedi said Yadav’s claims would require an annual budget of ₹29 lakh crore ,nearly ten times Bihar’s total budget.
He also targeted the Mahagathbandhan, calling it divided and rudderless, with no clarity on leadership or manifesto. Trivedi highlighted NDA’s achievements in women’s empowerment, contrasting them with the “dark memories” of the Lalu-Rabri era. He accused the opposition of political opportunism and warned voters against being “fooled again.”
