Unregulated Social Media is Manufacturing Damning and Dangerous Religious Depravity Among Youth

Social media has fuelled an unverified army of Shastri’s and self-styled gurus who are damaging Hindu Dharma and Sanatan in unimaginable ways. These frauds are exploiting people not just financially, but emotionally and in some cases physically.

Every hour, religious rituals and practices are being promoted that are unsubstantiated and unverified as per Dharma Shastra. Gullible people unaware of the underlying exploitation are accelerating their situational crisis by allowing this exploitation. The Influencers across social media have also contributed to creating an army of religious Satans peddling black magic and unsubstantiated tantric rituals and obviously supporting the creation of an entire industry that is manufacturing religious fraud.

Social Media is full of influencers and self-styled astrologers, black magic practitioners selling instant ‘Vashikarn’ ( fatal attractions to get love, money, fame, jobs and even Mackenna’s Gold) to young minds and people in situational crisis. Young adults flock to these religious quacks for love and careers and eventually find themselves scarred and exploited beyond redemption. Often, people in duress borrow money for these rituals and even get robbed into horrific assaults by gangs. Often, people keep shut for fear of embarrassment, and the industry keeps moving at a ferocious, monstrous pace.

Dharma Checklist – before you take the leap of faith

Unaware and unchecked, this scourge eventually causes Hindu’s to disbelieve the very Dharma that has gifted the world the multiverse of various cults and religions. The recent protests are an ideal example of the profane views a section of Gen Z has towards the very Dharma they were born into. The fault perhaps doesn’t lie with them but with society at large – including Dharma Gurus. In this world where the third dimension is now a reality, it is the role of Dharma Gurus to leave Ashrams, move within society, spread the true word, and take the light of Dharma back to the world.

Centuries ago, it was Adi Shankracharya who undertook the Digvijay Yatra throughout his life to unite and resurrect Hindu’s and Dharma. If there ever was a need for revered Shankracharyas and Dharma Gurus to revisit the Digvijaya Yatra, then the time is now.
