

Chartered Aircraft Skids Off Runway During Landing at Baramati Airport; Five Lives Lost in Tragic Accident
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has died in a plane crash. He was 66 years old. On Wednesday morning at 8:45 AM, his aircraft crashed in Baramati. According to preliminary information, the accident occurred during landing at Baramati Airport. Five people have lost their lives in the crash, including Ajit Pawar, his personal assistant, security personnel, and flight crew members.
Based on information gathered so far, Pawar was traveling from Mumbai to Baramati in a chartered plane. During the landing procedure, the aircraft skidded off the runway. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has confirmed the deaths of five individuals in this accident. Earlier reports had indicated six fatalities.
Ajit Pawar was scheduled to address four public meetings in Baramati related to the Maharashtra Panchayat elections. Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule were in Delhi at the time of the incident. Upon receiving news of the crash, they are heading to Baramati with the entire family. Other family members have departed for his Mumbai residence.
