Annual toll pass for private vehicles to rise by ₹75 to ₹3,075 for FY 2026–27; valid for one year or 200 highway crossings

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced a revision in the FASTag Annual Pass fee, increasing it from ₹3,000 to ₹3,075 for the financial year 2026–27. The revised rate will come into effect from April 1, 2026, according to official information.
The annual pass is designed for non-commercial private vehicles such as cars, jeeps and vans and allows users to pay a one-time fee instead of recharging their FASTag repeatedly. Once activated, the pass remains valid for either one year or up to 200 toll plaza crossings, whichever occurs earlier.
Launched in August 2025, the facility aims to simplify toll payments and promote seamless electronic toll collection across national highways and expressways. The pass can be activated through the Rajmarg Yatra mobile application or the NHAI website, and is linked to the vehicle’s existing FASTag within a short time after payment.
Officials say the scheme has seen strong uptake, with millions of vehicle owners opting for the annual pass to make frequent highway travel more convenient.
