J&K Police implements comprehensive welfare programs ensuring dignity and comfort for families of fallen heroes; Blood Donation Camp marks solemn occasion
Jammu & Kashmir, October 2025 :Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the welfare of police personnel and their families during a solemn ceremony honoring martyrs of the Jammu & Kashmir Police who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
“J&K Police is implementing numerous programs to ensure that the families of our brave martyrs live a life of comfort and dignity,” the Lieutenant Governor declared, emphasizing the administration’s dedication to supporting those who lost loved ones in service to the nation.
Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat read the names of the fallen bravehearts as attendees observed the traditional arms reversal, followed by two minutes of silence paying tribute to the martyrs’ ultimate sacrifice. The ceremony underscored the deep respect and gratitude owed to police personnel who risk their lives protecting citizens.
Lieutenant Governor Sinha also visited a Blood Donation Camp organized to commemorate the occasion, symbolizing the spirit of service and community contribution that defines the police force. The comprehensive welfare initiatives include educational support for martyrs’ children, financial assistance, healthcare provisions, and employment opportunities for family members, ensuring their continued well-being and security.
