Domestic Cylinders Up ₹60, Commercial Up ₹114.5 from March 7 -Second Hike in Under a Year

ndia has revised LPG cylinder prices effective Saturday, March 7, with domestic 14.2 kg cylinders rising by ₹60 and commercial 19 kg cylinders by ₹114.5. Industry officials attribute the hike to sharply rising global energy prices triggered by the ongoing military conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran in West Asia.
This marks the second price revision in under a year, following a ₹50 increase in April 2025.
New Rates for 14.2 kg Domestic Cylinders:
| City | New Price |
|---|---|
| Delhi | ₹913 |
| Mumbai | ₹912.50 |
| Kolkata | ₹939 |
| Chennai | ₹928.50 |
Commercial LPG in Delhi now stands at ₹1,883 per 19 kg cylinder -the second commercial hike this month alone, following a ₹28 increase on March 1.
Notably, over 10 crore Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries will continue receiving a ₹300 subsidy per cylinder for up to 12 annual refills, offering relief to India’s most economically vulnerable households.
Petrol and diesel prices remain unchanged nationwide despite rising crude oil rates.
