Prime Minister accuses Mahagathbandhan of promoting crime, extortion, and misrule ahead of Bihar polls

Aurangabad, Bihar : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a sharp attack on the Opposition Mahagathbandhan, asserting that Bihar’s people “do not want a ‘katta sarkar’ or a government of guns.” Speaking at a rally in Aurangabad, PM Modi alleged that the leaders of the so-called ‘jungle raj’ are preparing to bring back crime and chaos in the state.

“They are teaching children to become rangdaar (gangsters). They are already saying that if their government comes to power, there will be katta (guns), donali (double-barrel rifles), firauti (extortion), and rangdari (ransom),” Modi said. “But Bihar doesn’t want misrule again :it wants peace, development, and jobs.”

The Prime Minister further claimed that the Opposition’s return would drive away investors and jeopardize employment opportunities in the state. “The people of jungle raj have everything that harms investment and jobs. Bihar trusts the NDA’s honest manifesto for a developed future,” he added.

The remarks come amid heightened election campaigns in Bihar, with both alliances intensifying their outreach to voters.
