BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda has conveyed deep condolences following the tragic stampede at TVK party’s rally in Karur, Tamil Nadu, which claimed multiple lives. He has also wished for the swift recovery of those injured in the incident.
In response to the tragedy, Nadda has constituted an eight-member NDA delegation to visit Karur and investigate the circumstances leading to the stampede. The team will meet affected families and submit a comprehensive report at the earliest.
The delegation, led by convenor Hema Malini, MP, includes prominent members: Anurag Thakur, MP; Tejasvi Surya, MP; Braj Lal, MP and former DGP; Shrikant Shinde, MP from Shiv Sena; Aprajita Sarangi, MP; Rekha Sharma, MP; and Putta Mahesh Kumar, MP from TDP.
The cross-party delegation reflects the NDA’s commitment to understanding the tragedy and supporting the affected families during this difficult time. The team is expected to visit Karur shortly to conduct its inquiry.
