Multiple fire brigades battle blaze for 90 minutes; two workers still trapped in facility


A devastating fire at a chemical factory in Bhiwadi’s Khuskhera Industrial Area claimed seven lives on Monday morning, February 16, 2026. The blaze erupted at plot number G1/118B around 9:30 AM, trapping workers inside the facility.
Multiple fire brigade units took approximately 90 minutes of intensive efforts to bring the flames under control . The fire spread rapidly due to the presence of chemicals at the site. Seven bodies have been recovered during rescue operations, with two workers reportedly still trapped inside.
Between 20-25 laborers were working at the facility when the incident occurred . While some managed to escape, several others were caught in the inferno. Authorities from Bhiwadi, Tijara, and surrounding areas deployed numerous fire engines to combat the blaze. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown and investigations are underway. Administration officials continue rescue operations at the site.
