Ranveer Singh-starrer leaves director’s wife emotionally undone; calls it an experience no audience will forget

Yami Gautam, wife of director Aditya Dhar, revealed at the News18 Rising Bharat Summit 2026 that she has watched the eagerly awaited Ranveer Singh spy thriller ahead of its March 19 release. Her verdict was unequivocal: “beyond extraordinary.”
“I couldn’t read a script, couldn’t watch anything after. I just stared at the beautiful sunset, wondering how to put into words what I experienced,” she said, adding she was too emotional to even speak to Aditya when her flight landed.
Whispers of a Yami cameo in the film persist, though she deflected with characteristic charm, confirming only a “very important appointment at the cinema hall” on release day.
Dhurandhar 2 hits screens March 19.
