In a first-of-its-kind cinematic ritual, Dinesh Vijan and team Maddock treated fans to an exclusive 20-minute preview of Thamma, turning Delhi into a roaring celebration of India’s growing Horror-Comedy Universe.


Delhi witnessed a night of cinematic legend as thousands of fans gathered to experience the first-ever public screening of Thamma , a moment that marked the birth of a new fan tradition in Indian cinema. For the first time, audiences became part of history as producer Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films unveiled the first 20 minutes of their upcoming horror-comedy before the rest of the world.
Hosted by comedians Biswa Kalyan Rath and Divay Agarwal, the event was a perfect blend of humor, horror, and hysteria. With Biswa’s trademark wit, surprise appearances by MHCU icons Bhediya and Stree, and a delirious Delhi crowd, the night set a new benchmark for fan engagement.
Taking the stage, Dinesh Vijan declared, “This is the beginning of a fan ritual. From now on, fans will see a glimpse of the film before the world. We’re building a universe that belongs to its fans.”
The evening saw cinematic powerhouses Paresh Rawal, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rashmika Mandanna, Ayushmann Khurrana, director Aditya Sarpotdar, and Vijan himself share the spotlight a star-studded celebration of the ever-expanding Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU). The first 20 minutes of Thamma left fans laughing, gasping, and howling but the loudest cheers erupted when Nawazuddin appeared on screen, sending the audience into a frenzy.
