Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan visited Mumbai’s famous Lalbaugcha Raja pandal with wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan to offer prayers to Lord Ganesha
Shah Rukh, Gauri and Suhana were seen offering prayers together. The actor also waved at fans gathered inside the pandal. Security arrangements were in place during the visit, with Shah Rukh ensuring that his wife and daughter had an opportunity for darshan.
A quiet visit amid celebrity celebrations
The superstar reportedly made a low-key entry, avoiding the paparazzi. Photographs and videos of his visit subsequently circulated online.
Shah Rukh had also attended Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at industrialist Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s Mumbai residence. Several Bollywood personalities, including Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, participated in festivities across the city.
‘King’ set for December release
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is preparing for the release of his upcoming film King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film features Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan, among others.
Scheduled to arrive in theatres on December 24, the action film has involved demanding sequences, with Shah Rukh recently speaking about the physical challenges of shooting and his involvement in the visual-effects process.
