US President warns Tehran to “get their act together, and fast” after alleged Hormuz Strait incident leaves three dead

Donald Trump has accused Iran of launching drone strikes on Indian vessels near the Strait of Hormuz, calling the alleged attack “totally unacceptable” and demanding immediate cessation of such actions. The incident follows a separate US admission of striking three ships carrying Indian crew in the same waters, resulting in three fatalities.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump also dismissed circulating reports about an Iran nuclear peace agreement as fabricated, insisting the leaked terms bore “no relation” to what had actually been agreed upon in writing. He accused Tehran of acting dishonourably and in bad faith during negotiations.

The dual controversy a disputed peace deal and alleged maritime aggression has sharply escalated US-Iran tensions, with Trump issuing a stark warning that Iran must course-correct swiftly or face consequences.
